
The HAWK offers 48 degree programs for currently 6,500 students at its three locations in Göttingen, Hildesheim and Holzminden. Its focus is on interdisciplinary and practice-oriented cooperation in research, teaching and transfer by linking, relating and expanding the disciplinary areas of engineering, healthcare, resource management, social work and design, among others. In addition, the ‘Göttingen Health Campus’ was established in Göttingen, which interlinks research, teaching and studies in cooperation with the UMG. The HAWK Interaction Design Lab has developed HAWKI, the first data protection-compliant front end for LLMs at universities, which has attracted nationwide attention and been used accordingly. The HAWK Faculty of Design is a new member of the consortium with its Interaction Design Team and contributes its experience in the conception and development of digital applications and accompanying PR materials to the consortium.
