The GWDG offers various, self-developed AI services. The most important tool is ChatAI, a service that enables users to interact with a broad selection of LLM models through an intuitive interface. With ChatAI, users can adjust settings such as temperature and system prompt to influence the behavior of the selected model. In addition, specialized tools such as ImageAI, VoiceAI, and ProteinAI are also available.
The Leibniz University of Hanover is opening up a new path to artificial intelligence for its members: LUHKI, a portal that offers free and data-protective access to ChatGPT. Students and employees can simply log in with their WebSSO access data at https://luhki.uni-hannover.de and use the AI language model. ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI based on the GPT-4 architecture, is a versatile AI tool that generates human-like text and responds to various requests. Its application possibilities range from customer service to education to content creation. LUHKI is based on the open-source solution HAWKI, which was developed at the Interaction Design Lab of the University of Applied Sciences and Art Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen (HAWK).

RWTHgpt is available and free of charge for many RWTH employees. Access is via a web interface developed by the RWTH. The IT Center and the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS) have developed a comprehensive information and training offer for you, which you can already access now. The RWTH Center for Artificial Intelligence was founded with the goal of bundling and strengthening AI research at RWTH Aachen. Both the fundamental research of AI methods and the close integration of application disciplines are intended to contribute to establishing RWTH Aachen as one of the leading AI locations in Germany.
