Borreliose: AI-Powered Pathogen Detection
We developed a highly accurate pathogen detection method using KISSKI’s computational resources, validated it with Plasmodium data and applied it to Ötzi the Iceman’s metagenomic data where we corrected a prior misassignment and identified other pathogens, while pursuing AI-driven approaches to study Babesia and Bartonella in relation to ME/CFS in a non-profit effort sustained by free access to KISSKI.
