In response to the sharp rise in demand and the associated increase in costs for external AI models, GWDG will be deactivating the cost-intensive Claude Opus 4.6 model from 17 April 2026. [more]

KI:SL 2026 – University-Wide Day on AI in Teaching and Learning

On 21 April 2026, the University of Göttingen will host its university-wide day on AI in teaching and learning (KI:SL). KISSKI contributed to the preparation and will be present with an information stand and a hands-on session on privacy-compliant AI deployment.

The programme includes talks, workshops and hands-on sessions on topics such as AI-assisted literature research, academic writing and legal frameworks. The GWDG AI services developed within the KISSKI project will be available at the information stand for direct exploration.
