On September 18 and 19, 2024, KISSKI hosted KonKIS 24, the first conference of German AI service centers in Göttingen. The event received a great deal of positive feedback. The program design as well as the bilingual orientation and the networking opportunities met with great approval from the participants.
The panel “AI made in Germany: How do AI service centers accelerate the transfer of AI applications to companies?” and the networking event aroused particular interest.
The central challenges that AI services will face in the future were also discussed intensively. The relevant topics for the participants included: ethical issues, data protection, trust and transparency, digital infrastructure and official regulations. The participants also emphasized the need for targeted support and education for professionals.
The positive feedback highlights the need for such a conference as a platform that promotes knowledge transfer and networking in the field of artificial intelligence. It is pleasing to note that the majority of participants are planning to attend again next year.
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the survey and to all participants and speakers who contributed to the success of this first conference. We are already looking forward to a continuation next year.
