Erfolgsgeschichte: KITA-Hub - Wie Einrichtungen KI in ihre Angebote integrieren können

“Kita Hub” is a community developed for the Bavarian Ministry of Social Affairs. In a collaboration in the KISSKI project, the goal is to use AI to make the knowledge base for kindergardens available in natural language chats using LLMs and technology like RAG. In apps like “ELTERN HUB”, all information material and FAQs are also to be offered using AI in order to, among other things, bridge the gap between officialese and plain language.

The transfer services of the GWDG for this project includes regular consulting, joint workshops, the usuage of the ChatAI service as core service, and co-development of GWDG driven by the needs of the project. Currently, we work on the processing of sensitive data including copyrighted documents on the server using SecureHPC. As a result, a prototype was deployed successfully on the webpage of Kita Hub and the next level of RAG deployment is discussed in the collaboration.
