FAIrPaCT Workshop Marks Milestone in Pancreatic Cancer Research
The FAIrPaCT project workshop, held on February 26 & 27 2024, signaled a significant advancement in pancreatic cancer research. Funded under the National Decade Against Cancer initiative by the BMBF, this event united leading minds in federal artificial intelligence (AI) and pancreatic cancer research.
The workshop focused on fostering collaboration and advancing personalized medicine and treatment strategies for pancreatic cancer patients. Notable presentations included insights from Professor Dr. David Blumenthal on “Subtle Leakage in Federated Learning” and Professor Dr. Ho Chung on “Single-query Distributed Learning with Privacy Guarantees.”
Sadegh Keshtkar presented KISSKI, showcasing collaborative opportunities for implementing federated learning in FAIrPaCT’s research. This event signifies a crucial step forward in revolutionizing pancreatic cancer treatment through innovative AI-driven approaches.
