The “Data Center Infrastructure” competence group of the eco Association of the Internet Industry invited participants to the Göttingen data center on 29 October 2024. The event focused on sustainable and secure data center operation for HPC and scientific computing and offered around 80 participants the opportunity to discuss current topics relating to the operation of data centers such as ice storage and innovative electrical installations. The KISSKI was used to bridge the gap between operation and secure application. Dr. Stefanie Mühlhausen not only gave a presentation on behalf of KISSKI, but was also able to engage in a close exchange with participants at the stand and provide interesting insights into the research project, ongoing lighthouse projects and current plans for the future of the AI Service Center.
